I spent the day outdoors last week and it was actually a nice change of pace. I’m trying to pull myself away from all of my electronics and force myself to be outside. Photography for me is calming and entertaining — trying to find the perfect shot with the lighting I have. Below are some photos from flowers around my home.
For the second week in a row, we were blessed with the little snowflake icon on our smartphone weather apps. Since classes weren’t cancelled (still a tad grouchy about that) and I had to be in the outside world, I decided to capture what a snowy day in Chapel Hill looks like.

As my family and I were returning home from a day of fun, I decided to play around with my camera and capture the world around me. Here’s what I came up with.
