Recipe: Simple green juice

So I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube recently and almost everybody is following the “green juice” trend. I decided to follow along but with my own twist.

I like to keep it pretty simple. You can use whatever you want! For this recipe, all you need are the following:

  • handful of spinach
  • one banana
  • 2-3 spoons of mango puree
  • handful of blueberries
  • 2 strawberries
  • small piece of ginger
  • milk
  • crushed ice

Make sure to wash your fruit and cut the ginger into small pieces.

Add spinach, but you can add any greens you like. The spinach and blueberries were grown in our garden!

Now time for the mango puree. If you have an actual mango, you can probably use that. Since they are seasonal, you can use mango puree instead. I got mine from the Indian store.

Get your favorite smoothie maker or blender or anything that crushes and mixes. Add everything in, pour in your milk (or any liquid base you would like) and then add ice to the top.

Now time to blend! I let it mix until there aren’t any chunks left. If you like it chunky, blend less!
