Last summer my parents and I visited Denver, Colorado for a Sleep Medicine meeting (yes, that is a thing) . While it was pretty dope (punny, I know) to walk around the city, we wanted to see the scenic aspect of this lovely state. So we booked a whole day bus tour and set off on our Rocky Mountain Adventure! All photos are unedited (#nofilter) and were taken on a Nikon D5200. Here’s part one of our trip — to see more photos from the trip, or of my photography in general, follow my photography Instagram! Part two coming soon! Continue reading

Photography around Campus
To give my sarcastic mind a break, I thought I would share some of my photographs (mainly, the rather unhealthy amount of sunset photos I take) from around campus and the island. The majority of these do not have a filter on them (#teamnofilter). Hope you enjoy! Continue reading
A Trip to America: The North Carolina Zoo
One of the last things we did with our grandparents was taking them to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro. Despite the insane heat and lack of water fountains, we managed to have a great time!
A Trip to America: Chapel Hill
One thing my grandparents really wanted to see was my college. Since it was super hot outside, I decided to spare them from the campus tour. We settled on looking at the garden and park areas instead!
A Trip to America: The Waterfront
One of the last things we showed our grandparents in our home town was the water front. One because it was really pretty and second because we don’t really have much else to show in the town. Nevertheless, they seemed to really like it.
A Trip to America: Dismal Swamp + Blimps
During the first few weeks of my grandparents’ visit, we decided to show them around our little town. Since we don’t have a lot of big attractions down here like malls and museums, we decided to show them some of the natural (and man-made) beauties of the area.
A Trip to America: Nauticus
Last summer my grandparents came to visit us from India. The goal was to show them as much as we could in our little small town and the areas around it. Our first big stop was Nauticus, a marine and Naval Museum in Norfolk, Virginia. Continue reading
The Parsley Caterpillar
So last week as I was walking around our house, my mom pointed out her parsley plant. Riddled all over where these small, green insects. Meet the parsley caterpillar.
Photos around the garden
I spent the day outdoors last week and it was actually a nice change of pace. I’m trying to pull myself away from all of my electronics and force myself to be outside. Photography for me is calming and entertaining — trying to find the perfect shot with the lighting I have. Below are some photos from flowers around my home.
A snowy day in Chapel Hill
For the second week in a row, we were blessed with the little snowflake icon on our smartphone weather apps. Since classes weren’t cancelled (still a tad grouchy about that) and I had to be in the outside world, I decided to capture what a snowy day in Chapel Hill looks like.
