While visiting Warner Brother’s Studios, we were able to see two memorabilia halls for Batman and Harry Potter. We got to see all of the original costumes, props and cars (or brooms) for both series. Continue reading

To continue with the “Hollywood” theme, my brother and I decided to visit Warner Brother’s Studio and take a tour. We were with a small group of people and drove around with our tour guide. What made this tour different from Universal’s was the fact that we were able to get off and walk around the sets and interact and talk to our guide. And he catered the tour to our favorite shows (ours being Friends, of course)!

Back at it again with the silly (and sometimes really weird) quotes. But when teachers say these ridiculous things, the material sticks better! Last summer my brother and I visited our little cousin in Los Angeles. We decided to make most of our four days there and do as much as we could. One of our first stops was Universal Studios where we got to take a studio tour!

Even though we are starting the second half of the semester, we still need to remember everything we learned since January. This includes random (and sometimes funny) quotes from professors and friends. Here is the third volume of TIHIMS — make sure to check out the first two as well! Most of the quotes this time are from biochemistry.

It’s my last installment of “A Trip to America!” You can check the rest of them out under the “Photography” tab above. To close off this series, I wanted to recount some of the fun times we had right at home. And let me tell you, there was a lot of running around, dancing and funny faces to share!
Since my grandparents liked going out on the boats, we thought they might like to look at more marine life. So we took them to the North Carolina Aquarium at Roanoke Island. The aquarium also had a dinosaur section!

Since we are halfway through midterms, I thought I would take a trip down memory lane and look over some of the funny things we heard in medical school thus far. Make sure to read Volume 1! All quotes are from various professors and students. Can you remember them? Continue reading

One of the last things we did with our grandparents was taking them to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro. Despite the insane heat and lack of water fountains, we managed to have a great time!
