Continue readingOh hey! I’m glad Things I Heard in Residency is off to a great start. Thank you to everyone that has asked about it! Don’t worry, I’m still collecting quotes for the next post, but for now, I thought I could share some of the ridiculous things I heard on the interview trail. I just finished my second week of residency! Well, the second week of orientation. And let me tell you, I am way more disoriented than ever. But I’m happy because I am at my absolute dream program! I’m back! I took a bit of a break from blogging to focus on exams and learning how to become a functioning member of society again. And now, I am officially a third year medical student! Though I don’t have any more formal lectures in a classroom, I still get to hear ridiculous things from doctors, nurses, residents, patients and anyone in between. If you are within 10 feet from me, chances are that I am listening to whatever ridiculous thing you are saying.
As my first week of rotations comes to an end, I wanted to recap my time with some of the things I heard in the halls of the hospital. So, without any more stalling, here is TIHIMS: VOL 21! Continue reading
Before I start off my final term of basic sciences, I wanted to share some of the funny thing I heard during the Hyperbaric Medicine Selective I did! Which by the way — is AMAZING! If you have questions, let me know! Here are some of the ridiculous things I heard over the last week.
