I just finished my second week of residency! Well, the second week of orientation. And let me tell you, I am way more disoriented than ever. But I’m happy because I am at my absolute dream program! I am blessed to have matched at my top choice for family medicine. And I am even more blessed to be with the class that I am with! You know how I said that I was going to post more and keep this blog up-to-date? HA y’all should know better than to trust me on that. Since I’ve been gone, I have completed my OBGYN, Pediatrics and Surgery rotations! And all I have left is Internal Medicine. Wow, time flies when you are stressed out and procrastinate. To make it up to y’all, here are some things I heard during my OBGYN rotation!
I’m halfway through family medicine! Although I am learning a lot about the field, I’m also learning a lot from my patients. And by learning, I mean listening to them say or do the most ridiculous things. And the attendings and residents aren’t that far behind either.
